Native Plants

I want to clarify that when I use the term 'native plants' I may be referring to plants that are native to California (my area) or native to the region or even to the continent. To be strict on using actual native plants to your area you may have to check the Western Gardens book to find out what garden center plants are actually native plants in your area. Western Gardens is also a great gardening tips resource so you should pick up a copy either way.
